Leadership Without Solitude?

This article is discussing the issue that comes from constant contact. We lose our individual thoughts when we are constantly bombarded with the thoughts of others. When everyone is merely a call or a text away we are never truly alone. When you are not truly alone it can be imposable to be alone with our thoughts to formulate Ideas and decisions of our own. This is a necessary ability for a leader, but this is not often a luxury leaders have. A leader is only as wise as those they choose to listen too.

I could not have agreed more with this article. We need solitude in our lives to let ourselves think. However I think constant contact isn’t going away and we just need to find our own solitude in this world of constant contact.
