CTC-301 This article was about State Highway Administration officials in Maryland who did not fully review contract bids and shifted gov't funds among contracts without authorization. Contractors also hired state employess after they were awarded the contracts. One of the violations is an official soliciting money for a charity event from a contractor working in their division. One company had 34 former SHA employess on their books. The state does have a policy in regards to someone benfiting from a contract that they worked on. Good reminder for people entering the Civil field or any field.
