Type II diabetes on the rise among children

A recent study found that diabetes in young adults and children is much harder to control with common drugs and medication than in older adults. The study highlights that in 39% of 700 young adults tracked in the study, a combination of two or more drugs failed to control the disease! I guess the pressure is now on to combat diabetes as much as possible at its source which is to prevent obesity and monitor health and proper diets of young adults. This can be done by parents and guardians, and schools and institutions could even restrict the types of foods they give to students. Either way this is a growing problem that is seemingly uncontrollable through the easy method of popping a pill or two.
