A New Life

This article was very different as far as ethics articles are concerned. I found it from August, and it involves a billionare who wants to help a waitress who he met randomly when asking for directions at an intersection. Apparently the waitress was at the corner fundraising for her own medical needs, as she has kidney failures but doesn't meet criteria for a transplant.  This man asked her for directions and then returned and told her that her "fundraising was over" and that she didn't need to worry any more. She later found out that he was a billionare who founded the company that makes Beanie Baby dolls and he wrote her a check for $20,000 towards her treatment. This just goes to show that there are good ethical people out there that are willing to help.
