The start of my final year
I cannot believe that this is the start of my final year of college, at least for my bachelor's degree. My classes should be challenging this semester. I am taking
COM 302 – Public Speaking – They say most American's are more afraid of speaking in public then of dying, but that doesn't really apply to me. Being a musician I am pretty comfortable in front of crowds once I get into the moment.
COM 406 – Advanced Technical Communication – This class should be the most challenging. We will be working on a technical communications project with students from Fachhochschule Hannover in Hannover, Germany. We met their professor this week in class and I have had contact with one of the students who will be my pen-pal.
COM 490 – Visual Identity and Branding – This is my fun class where I will get to once again put my design skills to use. Also I have never had this professor before so I hope to learn more tricks of the trade this semester.
HIS 370 – Western Civilization & the World – This is the last General Education requirement I have so I will be glad to get it out of the way.
I am also working for the web development team again this year. Through my work with the team I will have over 2 years of experience in my field when I graduate. I am also continuing on as the web coordinator for the Student Association (our student government), as well as remaining active in the Pro Tech Com Club (an academic club for my major).
I hope this year will be as fun and exciting as years past and I cannot wait until May when I graduate.
That's all for now,
