Faculty/Staff Campaign 2012-2013 FAQ
What if I am currently giving through payroll deduction?
If you currently have your faculty/ staff donation set up as continuous payroll deduction with an open end date, your name will be automatically entered into the drawings associated with your giving level. You do not need to turn in an additional form unless you would like to alter your giving amounts. If you are unsure of the amount you are giving, contact Mary Ann Peck at (315) 792-7273 or maryann.peck@sunyit.edu.
What are the promotions for the 2012-2013 faculty/staff campaign?
1) If you donate at least $2 per pay period, or make a gift of $50 or more to the Foundation during our current fiscal year, your name will be entered into a contest to win one of three 'Donor of the Month' front row parking spaces in Lot C (in front of the Student Center) with the first drawing starting February 1, 2013. Each month a new winner will be drawn and the winners will be notified via email.
2) If any of the winners would prefer not to claim a 'Donor of the Month' parking spot, you may opt to let the Development Office treat you to lunch in the Student Center instead.
3) All faculty/staff members who make a donation of any amount to the SUNYIT Foundation will receive special recognition to display your generosity! Your name will also be included on the SUNYIT Foundation Honor Roll of Donors.
How does the parking promotion work?
If your name is drawn, University Police will issue you a special permit that is valid for the month in which you win. A new parking permit will be issued for the new winner the following month. The prize is transferable.
How does the free lunch promotion work?
If your name is drawn and you choose to forfeit the parking spot, you will receive a voucher that can be redeemed for a free lunch in the Student Center, courtesy of the Development Office. The voucher must be used within 30 days of being issued and is valued at $8.00.
Do I have to donate by payroll to win?
No. You may opt to pay in a lump sum by either cash, check or credit card. If you wish to donate by payroll deduction, please stop by the Development Office located in the Administrative Suite in Kunsela Hall to pick up a payroll deduction form.
The faculty/staff letter states donating to the SUNYIT Fund. Am I still eligible if I restrict my giving?
Yes. Your cumulative giving per month is what will determine which promotions you are eligible for.
